New runways won't boost our economy but they will set our climate on course for a crash landing.
Let's invest in a green transition instead.

It’s time to act for clean air.
We’ve teamed up with 25+ other groups in the London Healthy Air Coalition to call for renewed action on air pollution - and commitments from London’s local election candidates.
Things have gotten better - but in too many places, too much of the time, our air is still much dirtier than international guidelines for safe air.
London could be a clean air global city, but we need to act now. We’re asking London’s local election candidates to:
Adopt new targets and help make London a clean air global city
Ditch diesel and help workers breathe easy
Deliver less traffic and more movement
Lead the way on warm homes and lower bills

Fuel shocks expose just how dependent our transport system still is on oil and gas.
With most journeys still made by car — even short trips in cities — households are left vulnerable to sudden price rises.
Building resilience means shifting more journeys to public transport, and reducing our reliance on fossil-fuelled travel.

As jet fuel runs dry, we face a choice.
Protect ordinary people’s precious family holiday — or keep fuelling the most wasteful flights in the sky.
The solution is simple: ban private jets, prioritise the annual family holiday.
#BanPrivateJets #FuelCrisis
In April, we saw headlines telling us that we were six weeks away from running out of jet fuel. Four weeks on, nothing is being done to protect ordinary people’s holidays. If you’re wondering what could be done, the answer is grounding private jets for the ultra-wealthy and redirecting that fuel to commercial flights instead to keep our holidays on track this summer. Sign the petition NOW at the link in our bio ✨
Cancelled holidays for us. Private jets for them.
Thousands of ordinary people are having their summer plans ruined by the current fuel crisis. Meanwhile, the ultra-rich carry on as usual, burning massive amounts of fuel on private flights.
Why should we take the hit?

We can’t build a cleaner transport system by treating everyone the same.
Different places and different types of journeys mean people rely on transport in very different ways. Any transition has to reflect that in practice.
The question is no longer whether we move to cleaner transport, but how we make sure it works for all of us.
We are hiring! 👀

The government's Circular Economy Growth Plan could create jobs and cut waste.
But it's being delayed - wasting months of work and slowing progress.
That's why we've signed a joint letter, coordinated by @restartproject , calling on Prime Minister @keirstarmer to release it.
We can't keep waiting.
The push for clean air is growing, but we're not done yet.
Hundreds of local election candidates have already committed to our Clean Air Pledge. That's all thanks to you.
But, here's the thing, there are more than 250 candidates standing in the local elections. Candidates who have the power to decide whether to clean up our air, or not.
With less than 1 week to go, we need to push further.
If your local candidate hasn’t signed yet, now’s the time to ask:
👉 Email your candidates
👉 Ask them to sign the pledge
👉 Share it with your community
It only takes a minute to help turn this momentum into real action.
Let’s keep going. Link in bio.
