I still can't believe that I played a standard jazz music for the first time to an audience filled with professionals🙆🏼♂️😭😅.
I'm a strict classical pianist who decided to try something different at the @tiwasavagemusicfoundation , and to God be the glory, I was among those selected to be tutored.
just within the space of 4 days, I was able to learn and perform jazz standard music for the first time to an audience filled with high skilled music professionals, omo!!! 😭😅
It wasn't easy but I was able to do my best and now I've decided to continue my study on Jazz music and other genres of music.
All thanks to @tiwasavage for accepting to follow her heart to bring about this great legacy🥂✨

Yesterday was more than just a recital for me it was a moment of growth, discipline, and expression.
I’m deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, supported, encouraged, and believed in me through this journey. Your presence meant more than I can fully put into words.
To my teachers, mentors, and everyone who has poured knowledge, time, and patience into me, thank you for shaping not just my playing, but who I am becoming as a musician.

What you’re doing right now @tiwasavage will definitely hit and break better and higher grounds around the world. This is something we’ve not seen before, not something that’s been overdone. This is fresh and intentional.

Back then, I used to struggle just to find a keyboard to practice on. Playing a grand piano felt like a distant dream. I wanted it so bad, but access was the problem.

Fast forward—not only have I played on grand pianos, but I’ve even gotten tired of them sometimes 😂🎹.

This is just a reminder that progress takes time—but it also takes consistency, belief, and hunger. Don’t slow down because things aren’t perfect right now. Keep your eyes on the goal and push through. That dream will become your reality and, one day, even your routine.
