Margaret-Anne Smith es una artista que vive y trabaja en Los Ángeles. Después de una serie de pinturas al óleo cuadradas inspiradas en una secuencia de poemas escritos por la escritora de la Resistencia Sudafricana, Antjie Krog, el trabajo de Smith ha crecido en tamaño y dimensiones, incorporando pintura, escultura, fotografía, dibujo y collage para cruzarse y conectarse entre sí.
Margaret-Anne Smith is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. After a series of square oil paintings inspired by a sequence of poems written by the South African Resistance writer, Antjie Krog, Smith’s work has grown in size and in dimensions, incorporating painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, and collage to intersect and inform each other.

The Waterways National Board is the entity in charge of maintaining the waterways in Argentina and is located in Demarchi Island.
The workers and inhabitants of the island survive despite the passage of time and the Island’s own history.

Ayer, en el Museo de Arte Moderno @modernoba , se inauguró la exposición "Cuerpos Mutantes" y "Cuerpos Contacto".
Gracias al arte de @comparsadrag , se está exhibiendo una gigantografía de una foto que tomé en el 2018 sobre ese lúdico, corporal y performático desfile de la Comparsa Drag por las calles de la ciudad de Buenos Aires.
La foto es ante todo el recuerdo y reflejo de un momento de la noche porteña donde la disidencia toma las calles y transforma a los espectadores desprevenidos, a cada paso, en cada esquina, en el ida y vuelta de miradas.
Gracias a @endi.ruiz y a Silvio Lang por su laburo, y por dejar asomar la cámara por esos lados!
"Presente Oceánico" es la sumatoria de imágenes sobre el mar (más específicamente, la costa sur de Mar del Plata, Prov. De Buenos Aires).
En la intercalación y yuxtaposición de tomas de diferente distancia focal, el mar adquiere un ritmo propio y vertiginoso. La quietud del mar en ciertas áreas, las capas de olas y el desvanecimiento de la marea sobre la arena potencian el carácter expresivo del mar. Mientras filtros de colores, se interponen materialmente sobre el lente de la cámara que registra estás imágenes impregnándoles un carácter onírico y surreal.
