Twosixty Projector Program: Made in Moreland Short Film Showcase
For the next month the Twosixty Projector presents the ‘Made in Moreland Short Film Showcase’, a series of short films created in Moreland by local filmmakers.
From ultra local short documentaries to experimental stop motion animations, this delightful program is suitable for all ages and will be subtitled.

This Saturday 17 September — Hands on ceramics workshop
Hands on Ceramics is a workshop that celebrates working with your hands to experiment and explore clay. Jade Thorsen invites participants to use the environment and tools provided to create clay objects that reflect the site and the interactions that take place. Participants will be introduced to rolling, carving and pressing different types of clay to create a participatory community artwork inspired by Twosixty. All materials will be provided, all you need is your hands.
Enjoy a day of making textured clay sculptures that reflect the Twosixty site and the joyful spontaneous interactions that happen in this shared space.
Everyone is welcome, feel free to stay for half an hour, or the full four hours. Bring your kids, bring your pets, have a seat and get hands on, making a little mess on a hopefully sunny Saturday.

Retail Abduction - Mikelle Miller
This is a piece dedicated to the retail experience from the perspective of the worker. It addresses themes of escapism through a satirical lens.
About the artist:
Mikelle Miller works predominantly in drawing and digital art but has recently branched out into video works. Her works combine the surreal with the real and use mixed media to convey a distorted reality.

Dream 2020 - Sunday Smith
This video is part of a series that explores the synchrony of hypnosis and enchantment within nightmares and dreams, as well as the way they lure us in and hold us captive until we regain consciousness.
‘Dream’ is an audio-visual piece that explores the passage of scenes within dreams that hold the viewer into a trance like state, allowing abstract mirage-like landscapes to morph and unravel as the sequence progresses.
Sunday Smith is a multidisciplinary artist located in Melbourne and is currently in her final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts at RMIT. Her current practice utilises sound, video and installation to explore themes surrounding the representation of the female body in social and political contexts.

Golden Age, 2022 by Jesse Mahoney plays tonight from 6pm to 11pm.
Golden Age' is a video artwork about failing to meet the retro-futuristic ideals of our recent past. Its icy captions at the bottom are to show the hindsight perspective of failing to live up to these 'golden ages' and shows my former artworks twisted and their files glitched.
Jess is a 2nd-year video art student with an interest in past aesthetics and notions of the future.

Tonight, 6pm to 11pm - Don't let it out, 2020 by Ieesha Wild
This piece centres around anxiety and doubt, feelings of chaos and disorder, and the realisation that nothing is in my control. I made this video as a sort of release, an attempt to visualise what it would look like if I let it all out, if I let go.
Ieesha is at RMIT, about to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I am also a musician and I make and perform my own music.
