🪲🦋had the absolute best time opening for the @graspingstraws release show for their new album “Patterns” at @mercuryloungeny last week with @actually_preston_spurlock doing his signature projected visuals 💫 huge thanks to everyone who came and watched us play, and if you haven’t yet, listen to Patterns because it slaps!! if you didn’t make it out last week don’t fret, we have some more shows in the works and can’t wait to be back performing for y’all 🤘🥰

I have so much to say about this project but for now I wish you happy listening and hope you enjoy 🙏 . MEGA thanks to two folks who did some great work on this album - @cosmojerry aka Joe Cosmo Cogen is the one behind the drum kit on tracks 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7, and did a fucking incredible job bringing to life the rhythm section in his characteristic lightning fast and meticulous way when we realized we only had a small window to record. The foundation of these songs and the album is owed hugely to his amazing work⚡️Secondly, if you were at our show the other week you saw him playing lead guitar, but also the reason these tracks slap so hard (and the tasty solo in this clip) is due to @rocketworm aka Kevin Shipp’s super tasteful mastering work. it was a huge privilege to benefit from his diligent & thoughtful listening over the course of many late studio nights. Last but not least he has a molten hot cameo on the final album track 🔥I’m incredibly grateful to be able to offer you the record these two folks contributed to. . thank you for your listening and support. couldn’t have done it without you. hope you enjoy. ❤️‍🔥

“With Trash Moth she was able to capture those feelings and in a purposely heavier way than she had before with a nod to 90’s indie rock and grunge. She attacks her guitar when she plays, like she’s exorcizing her demons and yet is soft spoken and funny with her between song stories. Extreme gratitude to Purgatory for helping us find a last minute home for this beautiful show as well 👻 And it was amazing to share the night with some of my favorite bands, especially to be a host for a night for @flklmusic and @thedearlys tour!! Lastly, so many thanks to @rocketworm @daniloromeirinho @billiam222 for rehearsing like hell the last 5 weeks for this supergroup release lineup 🙏❤️‍🔥 . now, for the album update - the whole thing, and I mean the WHOLE thing, is coming in another week or so, because I want it to sound the best it possibly can for y’all.
