Admittedly, I almost didn't go on this trip. In the spirit of #mentalhealthawarenessweek, I was feeling so anxious, exhausted and stressed recently that I've felt physically ill. I knew I needed to push myself to go on the trip, knowing it would be a tonic and I'm really proud of myself for overcoming my fears. This past month I didn't drink (until my trip) which has helped my brain a lot and will be resumed tomorrow. Travelling alone, sitting with my thoughts and being still has given me some peace of mind and time for reflection. It was wonderful.

Took myself on my first solo trip abroad to soak up some vitamin D before the cold, dark nights really set in. It was refreshing and validating and I would recommend it. Palma is lush.
