MAY 1, 2016. I promise this my mood forever!!!! 10 years of hard work, dedication, tears, smiles, laughter, pain, debt, debt, debt, tears, joy, tears, success, more tears, self doubt, tears again, wins, highs, lows, NEVERTHELESS we made it. I don’t really have the words. It’s been a long week, but a longer 10 years lol. I think both @_breaaaaaaaaa have had moments of like being proud today and the moments of blah and then moments of saying “girl we made it, we did it.” Truth is, sometimes things move so fast that you forget to congratulate yourself and you forget that it was once a small dream. As we looked back on photos, i wish i could fit them all but i can’t…. We found award shows i forgot about, videos, events, classes, etc and i was so taken back. All i could say was WOW thank you God. This isn’t easy at all, and we’ve entertained walking away more than i can even explain, but we remained faithful to our crafts and we hung in there. So to any one of you that may be experiencing self doubt, wanting to give up, or anything close to, remember, it may get tough, but tough doesn’t last always. We wanted to have celebration, but life’s been lifing. We gon get there before the year ends. BREA i love you so much…. Im not even gonna get emotional. U know the deal 🤍 and to anyone that’s been on this journey at any point with us, THANK YOU, we love you, we and appreciate you. . . We do not own rights to this music! . . BRAID CLASS UPDATE: just wanted to tap in and let you all know how grateful i am to be in the space and position to properly teach you to braid. Classes have been picking up lately, and it’s been so fun to see you all walk in with the hope and wish to learn, and walk out excited that it happened. . . . This summer we will hold another kid/teen course, and a mom and me. . . On A greater scale, I’ll be adding my MASTER COURSE for those that have either completed senior class or that are already skilled, but lack the knowledge to build the business and actually sustain. With Braid Bar coming up on 10 years, it seemed fitting to take the leap and share the sauce. If that sounds like you, comment “BUILD” below!! Can’t wait for this new season!!!
