If you’ve been following my last post, you already know how powerful the six-stroke roll can be when you use it in your fills.
Today, we’re slowing it way down so you can see exactly how I play it.

(K = Kick, R = Right Hand, L = Left Hand)
I’m keeping it slow and fluid so you can really watch the motion.
This isn’t about blasting through it fast. It’s about mastering the feel so when you speed it up, it stays clean and powerful.

WHY THIS MATTERS: • Better control = cleaner fills • Even strokes make your playing sound pro • Solid foundation means you can throw this into almost any groove without thinking
Once you’re comfortable, move it around the kit, change the accents, and mix up the voicings. That’s how you keep it creative and make it your own.

I know a lot of people on here like to play covers, and I think that’s cool. I will do that from time to time but I hear music in my head! There are these crazy songs in my head that are pretty epic and that’s what I play to. I’m always playing music, it’s just in my head. One day I’ll let you hear it too.
