wow.
honestly i turned up to support my friends who were also nominated for awards with zero expectation to get on stage let alone win an award. i grew up trying to do every other thing but art cus back then it was a death sentence to unemployed and misery. now i couldn’t be more grateful that i can say “hi i’m teoni, i’m an artist”. i’m even more grateful that i can somewhat lead the way for those who also think being an artist is crazy.
