April is the cruellest month, breeding
lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
memory and desire, stirring
dull roots with spring rain. -From The Wasteland by T. S. Eliot
April is the end of the academic year.
The cruelest, indeed.
It is the month when we all start our wrapping up and prepare to say goodbye and step outside of the academic cocoon.
Some of us do not feel ready. Some of us are more excited than afraid. Some of us are relieved.
Yet, if people who have been through this want to be honest, they will tell you that most of us are surprised to some degree by whatever we find awaiting us in May.
Some will tell you it's not the end of the world. Some will talk about it like it is.
I think both. It may be somewhat a world in itself, this place. But there are other worlds too.
You'll cross that bridge when you come to it and you'll see. And if you find yourself in another faraway world, you will carry something from this one.
I too, have bid farewell to this place. Too many times. But it's things like the warmth of last night that make harder to leave.
Warmth and a lot of other stuff, such as the opportunity to witness
@indrapramitroy dancing like there is no tomorrow.
(which someone has thankfully recorded because I still cannot believe my eyes. Was going to post that but I'll have to think about it, he is literally my boss guys. 😅)
*Anyway*
This one is dedicated first to *that computer room*. It really stole the show. Also my whole ❤.
I suspect it caused too many feelings and then dancing needed to be done about that.
Also. wish it were possible to let
@ssi1961 take the real computer room home, actually.
In a certain way he'll be doing that anyway, we all know its never going to be the same without him.
