There’s also something so powerful about both our solo shows - dealing with migration for the betterment of us and our community and then as an artist, embodying the women who made the pathways so we could… while also traveling and telling the origin stories of these legends. Women’s rights has always been a fragile subject especially with fake kings and “weak men pretending to powerful” , but we have EVERY OPPORTUNITY to make our shared rights, well, a right, not a privilege. Artmaking is how I fight the good fight, how are you making change? Love you.
