LUNDD steht für LORENZ UND DISHONI und gründet sich aus einem gemeinsamen Designverständnis. Seit Beginn des Kommunikationsdesign-Studiums (2021) an der @burghalle entwickelt sich unsere kollaborative Gestaltungspraxis konstant weiter. Wir teilen den Wunsch, durch Storytelling und interaktive Gestaltung soziale und kulturelle Landschaften mitzuformen. Für uns ist Design ein Akt der Erkundung und Interpretation, der verschiedene Inhalte in zugängliche und nachhaltige visuelle Formen übersetzt. Wir gestalten Identitäten, fördern den Diskurs und beanspruchen Raum. * LUNDD stands for LORENZ UND DISHONI and is based on a shared understanding of design. Since beginning our studies in communication design (2021) at @burghalle , our collaborative design practice has been constantly evolving. We share the desire to shape social and cultural landscapes through storytelling and interactive composition. For us, design is an act of exploration and interpretation that translates various contents into accessible and sustainable visual forms. We design identities, foster discourse and claim space. Last semester I created the publication The Creepiness Scale, containing an intuitive and subjective collection of texts and word lists. It analyzes communication in messenger services as well as the implemented tools for faster conversation, also featuring the so called Predictive Poetry generated by predictive text algorithms, critically reflected upon, concluding as a mix of facts, fiction, poetry and distortions to a rabbit hole of digital communication. WINTERSEMESTER 2023/24 „SCHANDMAL MAHNMAL” SEMESTER PROJECT In 2018, a Jewish citizen filed a lawsuit against the defamatory relief on the church in Lutherstadt Wittenberg. This led to a broad public discourse that attracted attention locally, nationally and even internationally and raises the following questions: What is an appropriate, sensitive and up-to-date approach to antisemitic pictorial programs such as the so-called 𝘑𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘶?How can a sustainable culture of remembrance be developed for the defamatory sculptures? Particularly in times of an increasing social shift to the right and antisemitism, we believe that a new discussion is needed on how to deal with the widely discussed defamatory relief. The publication are intended to give the partly tense discourse on dealing with antisemitic defamatory reliefs a new space that opens up the possibility of a long-lasting, multifaceted debate and holds out the hope of continuing in reality. Concept and Design: @_staenz & @josephine_dishoni / DE WINTERSEMESTER 2023/24 „SCHANDMAL MAHNMAL” SEMESTERPROJEKT Im Jahr 2018 reichte ein jüdischer Bürger eine Klage gegen die Verleumdung der Kirche in Lutherstadt Wittenberg ein. Dies führte zu einem breiten öffentlichen Diskurs, der lokal, national und sogar international für Aufmerksamkeit sorgte und folgende Fragen aufwirft: Was ist ein angemessener, sensibler und zeitgemäßer Umgang mit antisemitischen Bildprogrammen wie der sogenannten 𝘑𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘶? Wie kann eine nachhaltige Erinnerungskultur für die diffamierenden Skulpturen entwickelt werden? Gerade in Zeiten eines zunehmenden gesellschaftlichen Rechtsrucks und Antisemitismus bedarf es unserer Meinung nach einer neuen Diskussion über den Umgang mit dem viel diskutierten diffamierenden Relief. Die Publikationen sollen dem teilweise angespannten Diskurs über den Umgang mit antisemitischen Ehrverletzungen einen neuen Raum geben, der die Möglichkeit einer dauerhaften, vielschichtigen Debatte eröffnet und die Hoffnung auf eine Fortsetzung in der Realität birgt.
