While the most effective way to eliminate pollution from the apparel industry would be to stop the production entirely, this is unlikely. low tech is the new high tech -apparel- first prototypes look01 Dress for this collection was created layer by layer supporting essential parts of the wardrobe. inspired by simplistic historical pattern making, that allowed me to draft the garments on the width of fabric, put together as a puzzle, eliminating 100% of fabric off-cuts. Boxy silhouettes are later fitted and adjusted by pleating and elastic cords -variable in sizing. Custom clothing rack for Viliam Mrazik Designed for modular assembly without tools. All components pack flat for efficient transport and storage. Inspired by a classic a-frame drying rack, this aluminium version is made to present Viliam his ready-to-wear clothing collection, which he developed through research of traditional Slovak dress and pattern making. The clothing is based on the simplistic concept of creating clothing without any offcuts, with construction methods of the past and tools of today. The rack is designed with the same approach and uses only standard size aluminium beams and stainless steel hardware. #lowtechisthenewhightech
