Dans un dispositif remettant en question la fiction temporelle occidentale et ses instruments de mesure, Laurent Mbaah vous invite à arpenter des textes et des images représentant d’autres modèles de rapport à la temporalité, aux présents, aux passés et aux futurs. À travers la parole, le dessin et l’écriture, vous serez invité·e à imaginer des représentations temporelles locales, ancrées dans des cultures africaines, des perspectives décoloniales et afro-diasporiques.
Ces ateliers sont une invitation à des pratiques collectives orales, écrites et graphiques, en non-mixité entre personnes afro-descendantes.
Les ateliers se dérouleront à Bruxelles aux dates suivantes : 09/05, 23/05, 30/05, 13/06, 20/06.

Afrocosme a pour ambition de participer à la révolution culturelle africaine. Abordant des notions contemporaines telles que le décolonialisme ou l’afrofuturisme, ce projet a pour but d’éveiller les afro-descendants·e·s et le monde sur la puissance créative africaine contemporaine, renversant au passage tout les clichés. Cette initiative doit permettre aux artistes afro-descendant·e·s, ayant une vision novatrice de leur culture à identités multiples, de prendre leur place et de transmettre leurs discours militants dans un milieu qui les invisibilise.

Join us for a collective walk in the Bois de la Cambre (Terkamerenbos) on Sunday 8th of March (1pm-4pm) for a gentle welcoming of the spring season.
Laurent and Tumba will guide you into the forest for a moment of reconnection and ritual. Together we will reflect upon the changing seasons and how ritual can help us connect deeper with the land.
What does it take to build community? How can nature inspire us to grow more resilient networks? How can we compost our toxic productivity and remember that rest is resistance?
To keep the space intimate, we have space for max. 15 people. To join, please register via the Framaform linked in our bio.
