Goodbye Lightroom? I’ve been waiting for this day!!!! I always loved my colors for my videos more than my photos. I tested out the new DaVanci Resolve Photo Page on 2 of these photos and let me just say I think it did a great job. Took me all night to figure out the UI and I see the differences but I was able to color match it pretty good in my opinion. Once I fully figure it (especially the masking for photos, layering and effects) out I might be canceling a subscription. Shhhh. On top of all that it’s on the free version @blackmagicnewsofficial Can you tell what 2 shots? and no the black and white shot isn’t one of them. Project: T.r.i.l.o.g.y. The right sound doesn’t just support your story. It becomes part of it. Here’s how I use @lensdistortions to bring that depth I felt while filming back to life. #lensdistortions #lensdistortionpartner If you’re curious, I’ve shared the exact playlist I’ve been using. You can find it through the link in my bio.

I’ve partnered with @nikonUSA to test their new Z f camera in what I do best, low-light photography! The design and analog dials of the Nikon Z f makes me feel like I’m shooting a high-end film camera, but with all the benefits of a full-frame mirrorless. It’s a true modern take on an enjoyable, nostalgic style of shooting! This was the first time using the camera to its full potential, and I think the results speak for themselves. I love that its selective noise processing helps create clear, sharp images specifically in low-light scenarios! Can’t wait to show you how it handles video in low light on some upcoming reels! If you want to learn more, stay tuned because I’ll be testing the Nikon Z f camera for the next few months! If you want to get your hands on it and give it a test run, we’ll have it at upcoming meet-ups for everyone to use with a few lenses as well. Shot on: Nikon Z f Lens: NIKKOR Z 14-24 mm f/2.8 S-line & NIKKOR Z 28-75mm f/2.8 #Nikon #nikoncreators #zf #NIKKOR #ad

Ocho. First short documentary film coming later this year. Only the beginning of something bigger. Any guesses what it may be about? Yess all you get for now is a blurry photo. #secretproject

People want to complain about Gen AI but not go out and do the work necessary to create something meaningful and unique. Especially when the weather is bad, when you get creators block “burnt out” or not having the “right” gear. BUT once in a while you find some people just as crazy as you to put in the reps regardless of the circumstances. When you find them, don’t lose them and keep creating dope shit. AI has its place but no amount of AI will ever replace the people you meet on sets or during collabs that have the same love for the process of the craft. A passion can never be replaced if it’s truly that. Model: @inked_up214 Created by: @_rtworow and @juanlaramejia

Thoughts on the “Director’s Cut”? More like the first draft of a recent project I did with @lensdistortions Compared to the Final Version we posted. This one is twice as long, includes graphics, slightly different sound design, and frames close to my heart. Director’s Cut just hit home a little more for me, especially one particular frame. But as creatives, it’s easy to get attached to our ideas. It’s normal but working with brands reminds me that it’s about telling stories that connect and really serve the message. It’s a learning process, stretching our flexibility, trusting the process, and knowing that the final outcome is about making something impactful rather than just showcasing our individual tastes. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of an amazing project that pushed me to grow and think bigger. Always here for the journey. More on all this in an upcoming video. #lensdistortions #brazil #mexico

T.r.i.l.o.g.y. Part I of III Trust your voice. Resist the noise. Invest in yourself. Spent a little over a year helping others, putting them first, shrinking myself so that no one felt left behind or uncomfortable. Causing me to forget what my own creativity looked and felt like. This year though, we’re going to be a little more unapologetically loud and proud about everything we create. accomplish(ed). and learn(ed) not only this year but over the past 2-3 years. Sharing all my creative endeavors up to this year. Feels good to shoot, shape the lighting, and edit without the pressure of creating something for Instagram that will perform well. Creating for the love of it. But this shoot with @jai.chic was insane, and some of my favorites are in part 2 & 3. Shoutout @_and1_11 for coming through and helping out with the shoot. He’ll be dropping some of his best work too. @jai.chic thank you for trusting me with the vision and coming out to model. And of course our #1 support since day one @nanliteusa with all the lighting. If you made it this far, I appreciate you, and don’t be afraid to be loud from time to time. Celebrate yourself, your hardwork and it’s okay to put yourself first sometimes. The real one will always love and support you. Love y’all. Part II on the way.

A lot of work still needs to be done. I don’t aim to make a masterpiece but just have fun and finally work on some personal projects. This was only day one of shooting for “Ghost”. Let me just say I have a lot to learn but I also realize how far I’ve come from my first attempt at video last year. And filming this gets me excited to test out a lot of things. It’s one of many personal projects in the pipe line that will help me get the reps in for bigger projects. It’s time to share my stories. Everything from the grind, my failures, the achievements, the fun, the sad, my culture and the family that made me who I am today. #lensdistortions #fitnessjourney #mystory

Unreleased. Life Changing. Archives. It’s insane how much impact a photo can have on your life, the places it can take you and the incredible people you get to meet along the way. @nikonusa is kicking things off today in Houston with their Nikon Tour from Nov. 13th to 17th and I have the honor of hosting Sunday Nov. 16th at the Museum of Fine Arts. What’s does this mean? Free events, free shoots, free gear demo (Nikon Z5 II and Z50 II) and the best part collaborating and connecting with other photographers and creatives. Doesn’t matter what brand you shoot with. Come hangout any day and test out gear for free. Access to all events in my bio. Why does it matter? In a world chasing AI. It’s a breath of fresh air seeing a leading brand chase connection and in-person events. Things I wish I had starting out.

In Japan, there’s a word, yūgen, that speaks to a beauty beyond what can be seen or explained. It’s the depth in a fading moment, the power of what’s left unsaid, the space between the notes that holds the silence and lets a song breathe and be felt. You might not see what’s ahead, but there’s something meaningful unfolding beyond what you can grasp right now. part two coming soon. #nanliteusa #pavoslim120c #grannymagazine #lowlight #lensdistortions #lowlightedition #artfactory #yugen

Learning to follow my own path again. After losing a month’s worth of videos this week when my ssd crashed. I had no motivation to post or edit. SO. I decided to put something together, with no purpose behind it, no “viral” formula everyone likes to preach. Just some good old fun and testing some things out. I grew up blasting this song in the car so I couldn’t not use it. Much needed spark to make all the footage I was able to recover purposeful. But I was able to grab some stills from some of the videos I lost. Lesson 425: remember to have fun creating content #mexico #fifa #lensdistortions
