Sometimes I like to look back to remind myself how far I’ve come. • • But in all seriousness I’m proud of myself. I admire my resiliency, my “I’ll figure it out” mentality, my heart, my drive, my ambition and everything that I have become. I LOVE the woman I’ve come to grow into. My mistakes, my downfalls, the situations that felt like broke me, my accomplishments, my family, my friends, my faith…EVERYTHING has brought me to who I am NOW. I LOVE ME. Every part of me. I love continuously growing and living this crazy ass but beautiful life. 💐💜 • • My wish for all of you in this coming year is to keep going. Take risks. Live in the present. LOVE AND BE LOVED. If you’re doing what makes you happy and gives value to those you encounter, the universe and God will handle the rest. A little throwback shall we. Back when I was a PYT lol. 😅 My DREAM and absolute goal (which I feel like a lot of dancers had the same goal) was to dance for @michaeljackson or @janetjackson . I remember exactly where I was when I found out MJ passed. Till this day he is the only celebrity that I actually cried and grieved for. MJ & Janet inspired me in so many ways. I’ve choreographed comp routines, class combos and dance vids to their songs. This class in particular was one of my biggest class at MDCOC (even though it may not look like it. That room was full of talented women) and one of my favorite classes to date. The high I get from seeing others move my movement is a feeling I fully can’t describe in words. But that’s another topic. I’ve gone down this rabbit hole after watching the @michaelmovie and I don’t ever want to get out. From growing up to his and his family’s music to now being an adult and obsessed all over again. My feed on all social platforms is about him and I hope that doesn’t stop lol. Anyway enjoy this throwback from a time in my life where I felt like my heart was overflowing with passion, love and gratitude. Thankful for another trip around the sun. Another year to live this crazy but yet oh so beautiful life. Feeling extremely blessed and overly emotional going into another year of life but so so so incredibly grateful for where life has taken me so far and the people God crossed in my path. The good and bad times shaped who I am today and the woman I am becoming.
