Feeling super grateful to have received the @agdawa best in show and typographic excellence award at the @vividgrads exhibition this week.
I started graphic design because I liked drawing and pretty colours (genuinely) and instead quickly found a passion for problem solving and the role creative communication can play (albeit will always love pretty colours and drawing). But if you told me Iād walk away with 2 (sick) awards ( courtesy of @mckenneydesign ) recognizing student excellence in the industry I wouldāve laughed.
A huge thankyou to my lecturers both at @tafe_sa and @northmetrotafe@nmtgraphicdesign Your advice, mentorship and guidance has been instrumental in finding our feet as creatives.
And @vividgrads a bloody pleasure to graduate alongside you all, and forever indebted to your feedback on āhave I been staring at this too long or does something not look right?ā

Stoked to be nominated for this years @padcskulls student skulls award with the kindness kit. An activation that encourages year 5 student to āswap backpacks for the dayā with a youth experiencing homelessness in WA. The overall aim being to foster empathy and build understanding around the complexities and intricacies of youth homelessness in Australia. Big thanks to @nmtgraphicdesign@padcskulls and the @salvationarmyperthcity for the brief, a truly worthy cause that Iām proud to be given the opportunity to get behind.
