🔥🔥🔥FIRE SEASON will premiere at the aptly named @hotdocs_ festival in April!
I started this project in 2017 with different intentions. I wanted to make a fictional horror film about an arsonist. When I tried to capture unpopulated shots of wildfires, groups of people stumbled into frame to take their own photos, selfies and videos. What I saw in real life was more horrifying than my horror movie idea.
I’m honored to share the film at such a prestigious festival and couldn’t have finished it without the friends below.
