Hi! I’m Adam, the human brain of Puppet Pants. You can see all of us, and a whole lot more, at the next Puppet Pants show.
Here are some questions I get asked by folks:
- What got you into puppetry? - I always enjoyed marionette puppetry as entertainment and I’ve always been a collaborator in artistic endeavors. 2020 lockdowns made collaboration difficult, so I turned to puppetry because it is a combination of all forms of art I enjoy.
- Do you make your puppets? - yes. All of the puppets in my show, except two, were made by me either in a garage or kitchen table.
- Who makes the music for your show? - me!
- Is your show for kids? - NO! It is for everyone :) it is appropriate for all ages and has been performed for audiences ranging from 1 to 90 years old.

Join me at the NEW @thecapcityvideolounge location next month for a scarf marionette workshop. On June 22 from 5:30 - 7:30pm we will:
- cover the basics of marionette manipulation that can be applied to any string puppet
- I will guide you through the process of making your own scarf marionette with tools and materials provided
- we will end the workshop with instructions on how to breathe life into your new creation
But wait, there’s more! A mere half hour after the workshop is over I will be performing at the same location and all workshop attendees get in FREE.

There’s a handful of shows comin up that are *not* for festivals or families. These dates I will be performing my wordless show which is strange and whimsical, full of color, excitement, and designed for a mature audience. I’m really looking forward to these!
Festival season 🤡
I enjoy these types of shows, they’re generally 15-20 min long, repeated several times throughout the day; and way less intense than my wordless shows.
I have the same wonderful puppets (plus some special festival-only puppets) and wear a costume, engage with the audience, play games and tell jokes. A lot of these shows are outdoors which present its own unique set of challenges! Come watch and make lots of noise, then walk around speaking loudly about the amazing marionette show that you saw
High flying trapeze artists, friendly creatures, and colorful clowns all come to life before your very eyes to perform tricks and charm you in a marionette show led by Puppet Pants. This children’s show is filled with jokes, stories, and audience interaction.
