✨Exploring the ritual sounds of Hmadcha alongside Moroccan musician @_prophan_ , Ghaita/Lyra musician Mohamed Said Zher of the Hmadcha brotherhood in Tangier, and multi-instrumentalist artist Cengiz Arsanplay, in a residency co-organized by @syntheseutrecht and AMME. Taking place between Tangier and Utrecht, the residency is a space for exchange, experimentation, co-creation and learning about the power of Hadra within the Hmadcha brotherhood. 🌓 ⟢ If you’re in Tangier this Saturday, come by for a WIP intimate performance hosted by @Nbtahouse at 20h. Moroccan artist Prophän is doing something really special, he merges ritual trance with industrial minimalism and ancestral memory. His music feels like witnessing a sonic dialogue between body, faith, and apocalypse. Heavy territory, but there’s something powerful in how he navigates it, and how he channels ancient practices through contemporary sound.
