live in the now. be present! show love and kindness towards others. celebrate and champion your friends! cherish the big life moments, and also the small ones too. take care of yourself, whatever that looks like! do things that you enjoy! try that one thing you’ve been really wanting to do but have been putting off because it scares the heck out of you! remember to eat really good food (and snacks)! stay warm! k bye!

with the keller’s during the snow storm last month 🌨️
i’ve been wanting to photograph a family in their home for the longest time in a way where they can just simply be themselves. no need to rush or to perform for the camera or stiff poses or telling the kids to fake a smile. let’s just see how things unfold as i’m there! we ended up spending hours together and it was so much fun. i have so many favorites from this day, but only showing a few where the kiddos faces are a little more obscured 🤍
thank you to the keller’s for welcoming me into their home, and into their lives. i’m so grateful!! xoxo
i was invited to photograph a jilly cooper themed holiday party in brooklyn this past saturday (my very first one!) and had the absolute best time. a huge thank you to the hosts of the evening (lissy, richard, marianne and lorenzo) for inviting me to come out and document it all. what a night!! 📸🎄❤️
wait, so you want ME to come out and document your camp-themed wedding celebration at a Girl Scout camp in New Jersey??
okie dokie that sounds good to me see ya there 🥰❤️
this one’s for the artists. this one’s for the mothers.
this past sunday i was invited to photograph the first-ever @artistsandmothers inaugural gala held at the @wsanyc building in downtown. A&M is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support emerging and mid-career artists who identify as mothers. This gala was a primary fundraiser, helping to raise essential funds for the next round of grants. Awardees of the grant will receive $25,000 to be used for childcare expenses. How amazing is that?!
this was such a fun event, which included various installations by artists, a step & repeat station for family photos, a ventriloquist and even a dance party! seen here are only a handful of photos that i made during my time there. a huge thank you to @souvenirshop.nyc (the event producers) for inviting me out to document everything. big love to you all 🫶🏼
somewhere along the way, i coined the phrase “documenting the human experience” as a way to describe my overall photographic work. although i’m known more for weddings, i do so much more than that. today, it’s about the new york city marathon.
my plan was to spot my friends around mile 9 in brooklyn, cheer them on and try to make a photograph of them before they ventured onwards towards the finish line, but sadly i did not spot any of them. that’s how insane this marathon is (55,000+ runners). when i couldn’t spot my friend @_jenna_k and the nyrr tracking app told me she had already passed me, i ran through the empty back streets, two cameras in tow, with the hopes that maybe i’d be able to catch up with her. unfortunately i didn’t, but that’s okay (i was with you in spirit 🤍) although i’m so incredibly bummed about this, what i did find was many others around me experiencing the marathon for themselves, whether they were a runner or a spectator. it was so cool to see, and even cooler for me to document. i also had the best time cheering for everyone!
it’s days like today where i am grateful for the gift of photography, because it’s something i can give back to others to memorialize a special time in their lives, like getting to do a quick group photo of a gal named natalia who were welcomed by her friends (slide 18), and i just so happened to be at the right place at the right time.
the people of this city really do show up and show out – now i know why this marathon is so iconic. i’m super happy that i got to experience this as a spectator for the first time. it really is a special thing to witness. who knows, maybe one day i’ll run the marathon myself!
anyways, here are a handful of photos from today. much love to you all. happy sunday! enjoy 🫶🏼

i had the best time photographing lauren + hayley’s welcome dinner at @wohopnextdoor in chinatown a few weeks back! it was so wonderful to see their friends & family members all in one place breaking bread, laughing and conversing over some amazing chinese food (i’m still thinking about that orange chicken 😋)
also ICYMI, their welcome dinner was recently featured in @them . tap the link in bio to view the full article!
fits: lauren wearing @maisonmargiela & @naturalizer / hayley wearing @nanushka
lastly, tysm L + H for inviting me out!! 🫶🏼🥹
street photography has taught me to photograph life as it is, and as it happens. i started bringing this approach to weddings a few years ago when i wanted to spice things up a little. i see a moment happening and i immediately react to it by pressing the shutter button. i’ve made some of my favorite photographs this way! shown here are a handful of frames of erin + her people at the beginning of the wedding day/before the ceremony 💛
