When a terrible case of burnout led Leah Patrick to severe issues with her adrenal glands and thyroid, it was a long and emotional journey to feeling well again. “I had absolutely no control over my body anymore. I put on 30 to 40 pounds because of the state my hormones were in,” says Leah. You have been seeing a lot of @strengtheningwithbri lately. Well that’s because it’s this girls time to shine. Bri deserves this moment in the spot light. This is her story of transformation and how she healed inside and out🥰👑💪🏼 The results of discipline, consistency and coaching. A mom of 4, a wife, homeschooler, student, and a job, I could have used all those as my excuse. When I met @_patrickfitness , I had tried almost everything, from medications, to starving myself, keto, a shit ton of, cardio, and everything else you can think of, all the diets, all the silly gadgets that promised weight loss. I dreamt of being that girl, the girl with power, confidence, and a healthy body. It’s not about being skinny, or toned, it’s about feeling confident, comfortable, and healthy. I used to hate clothes shopping, walking into stores wishing the “fitted” items would fit. Instead I was always buying the baggy shit to hide the mess. We’ve all been there. This is just a reminder that you can do and have anything you want, but it won’t come without challenges, just keep going! Never give up, keep pushing, cry along the way, take a shit ton of pictures, remember where you started, watch the progress! Slow progress is better than none!
