One year in to putting myself out there as an engineer/mixer/producer/whatever. Looking back, I’m really happy with how the year went. Big ❤️ to everyone who trusted me with their art. @geskle@lonelyisaneyesore@trent.larrabee@weareyournewfavorites@echomisslittle and @scrivener_music all put out stuff in 2025 that I had a hand in. And there’s a few more coming. I got a website now at patmcpherson dot com if you wanna check the credits. Let’s book something in 2026!
I put Memorandum on a discount since it’s that time of year. Go snag it if ya want! Of course I’m extremely biased but I use it quite a bit in my own work for subtle thickening, electric guitar frazzling, vocal roughening, and more. Try the demo first and see if ya like it!
Tape Op is a very cool magazine about recording that I like a lot. Very fun to see my ad in the new one. There’s a review of the plug-in in this issue too. 😋
If you wanna hear me blab about the memorandum presets and controls there’s a YouTube up now featuring exactly that on the PartialMeltdownAudio channel. Have a fantastic day!
It was a treat to engineer and mix the lead track on this for @trent.larrabee ! Love the vocal performance from Trent here. Give it a listen. @bananacactus_ on drums and @quiethouserecording on the master ✨✨✨
Yo. Here’s what I was teasing last week. Been working on this plug-in for a while and I’m releasing it to the world today. I often find myself intrigued by the vibe of demos I record into my phone. I set out to get that in a plug-in.
Check out partial meltdown dot com for more info. It’s not that expensive and there’s a demo version if you want to try it out. Would love to hear what you think.
