Case Files: it's taking shape
A few sketches from the process of working on identity for a high-profile product design studio @a11.studio with @robert.machac and their team.
It's definitely one of my favorite projects over the past few years thanks to the trust and freedom I have, along with a great taste and alignment of everyone included.
Final version will look quite different again, and is going to be released pretty soon so I'll share in depth overview of all the rounds and evolution of this project.

Case Files: Going berserk and finding balance.
During concept explorations I search for the essence of the messages founded in previous research through visual metaphors and try to find the right emotion.
Unrestricted exploration allows for going beyond what is only functional and planned. A play to find elements that are unique enough to hold the emotion and energy, while being aligned with audience, values and the underlining strategy.
When I create a key emotional component of the concept, I work with restricted set of simple assets to test layouts, compositions and key visuals, to find sanity again. Tone it down and make it functional.
These images are set of testing compositions for a so far confidential project we did at nonstop.studio – key visual, typography, pattern, logo in few restricted formats. To test how it feels and works and if there’s enough potential and functionality in this specific visual direction.
Research → Emotion → Function.
And never forget to get enough sleep.

@branislavrariga worked with @vladiskoo to design simple and easily recyclable packaging for their own coffee at Soren. Colour set by the red door of the coffee shop that lightens up the street, and it’s layout and form inspired by perfumes ~ which beans are too.

Credo Ventures – Web Design
When there’s some exciting and successful technology startup in the central or eastern europe region, you can be almost sure that Credo Ventures has something to do with it. That’s why we’re very pleased that such an important player in the industry that shapes also the region where we work and live through funding of innovative companies and products, has asked us to prepare new design of their site.
The visual was based around strong typography and strict layouts in combination with Credo’s primary brand colour. We have launched the first version, on which we plan to iterate in the upcoming months.
