It was a JOY to open the 2023 Mesa Por Vida party with so many happy dancers gracing this beautiful desert dance floor under the open sky, between the junipers and ancient pinions, as we dove into a sublime late summer sunset. Thank you, thank you, thank you Team Everything and Mesa lovers from near and far. Like a Swan Song to the Mesa, let’s call this a Pinion Jay serenade, a Nighthawk hoot, a Raven’s Caw to the enchanting and restorative experience it is to gather each year on these special lands of the Tewa.
