Rather than focusing on individual projects or headline carbon metrics, the work centred on translating engineering feasibility into a spendable ten-year pathway — aligned with asset condition, maintenance reality, and the way estates actually invest over time.
The value for Boards is not precision for its own sake, but confidence that interventions are sequenced so performance, risk, and capital planning remain aligned as the estate evolves.

this private family home underwent a full refurbishment and restoration by Cagni Williams Architects with the existing two flats becoming a studio and a double floor flat.
mstep designed the MEP systems to increase the overall energy efficiency of the property by removing fossil fuels and replacing with lower emissions systems.
optimum comfort for the residents will be achieved with a ventilation system which delivers hot and cold air to each room as required.

Just spent a wonderful week in stunning #dolomites at this beautiful #vegan hotel.
Apart from gorgeous setting, well designed, simple but effective rooms and insanely good food (size up, here i come), the building underwent a #retrofit towards @passivhaustrust standard.
My south facing room barely had any heating on for the last 7 days - it was sunny but the external temperatures were down to -10°C.
The benefit to the environment and to operational cost is incredible - bravo @paradisopureliving , I cannot wait to come again.

Well here we are 2025!
Welcome Yasmin Harris-Boadi and Richard Norbury CEng MIET and looking forward to Teeba Zolrahmi returning from #parental leave.
Miroslav Milosev and Lauretta Awude are working fully remotely but the rest of us gathered in the studio last week if just for the photo opportunity.
This week some start their journey to #losangeles where Frieze LA will be going ahead as planned and the rest will focus on continuing delivering United Nations Office in Geneva and a host of other projects including decarbonisation studies for St Benet's church in Kentish Town, The Birmingham Metropolitan College and South Thames Colleges Group .
It has been a busy year of growing and delivering and 2025 promises even more!
