Hello,
Wanted to pop in and chat a bit about life outside of music right now. Im currently dipping my feet in a new partnership which Im very happy about, she's good people and I appreciate that so heavy. My day job has been trying, but I do feel that my team and I are meeting each trial we've faced with grace, empathy and the well being of our students in mind each step of the way, so I'm totally fuckin' fulfilled there. Solo home life has been a lovely journey, and I now know, how much I enjoy the solitude.
I posted these two photos to talk about this, cause in the first frame; Im literally adorned in gifts from my friends (whom I consider family). The thought of that, has brought me to tears of joy several times over. In the second, it's an image of me and the absolute best companion I could have ever found in this life, my boy Shel is living happy strong and keeps me accountable all the time for the maintenance of his quality of life, our home and myself.
Life is difficult, but life for myself is definitely good. I do nothing but what I love each day and Im fortunate enough to be able to practice gratitude in order to keep that bastard of a beast depression at bay.

Happy Monday everyone! Im handling jury duty today, but I've got some much more exciting things going on the rest of the week!
Starting tomorrow! Pull up to @zebulonla and catch me and the homies in @pinklemonband opening things up for their Cinco De Mayo Festivites! Then I'll be at The L.A. County Fair this Friday with @cuttyflamband providing some good 'ol rock'n roll to get all the fair goers grooving. Finally, Saturday I'll be performing for my good friend Sam's bday @theledge.venue with @amordeparismusic !

Inspired & Dedicated to the true events that occurred Los Angeles 1942. When a young man Jose was found fatally injured by the “Sleepy Lagoon” a teenage Hangout. This tragedy brought to light the prejudices & racial targeting happening toward young chicanos. Absurdly targeting & rounding 300-600 Young predominantly Mexican American Teens for questioning.

Jammed with my favorite folks from Friday to Sunday and spent time relaxing when I could, great weekend, if I do say so myself. Stoked to be on a little break from my day job, this week, as much as I love it. Gonna focus on enjoying good people, writing some new music and the slow down silences in-between.
