WSC014 ~ @_meier_ Michele Iervolino, known as Meier, is an Italian techno DJ and producer raised near Naples. From an early age he developed a strong passion for electronic music, club culture and the art of DJing. A passionate vinyl collector, over the years he has built an approach to music deeply connected to sound research and musical selection. At the same time, he developed a strong interest in synthesizers, drum machines and analog instruments, elements that strongly influence his way of producing techno. In 2013 he moved to Ibiza, where he worked as a promoter and experienced the international electronic music scene up close. He later studied music production at the Nut Academy in Naples. After a period in Berlin, he is now based in Milan, where he works at Play Music Store (StrumentiMusicali.net) in the DJ, audio, synth and home recording departments, while continuing to develop his artistic project through DJ sets and music production. TECHNOBULL PODCAST SERIES #035 - MEIER (@_meier_ )🇮🇹 —————————————————————————————— Michele Iervolino, known as Meier, has been drawn to music since childhood, driven by curiosity for musical instruments and a taste for sonic experimentation. During his teenage years, he discovered the Neapolitan techno and house scene, where his passion for electronic music and club culture began to grow. In 2013, he moved to Ibiza, where he worked as a promoter and experienced firsthand the energy of the international scene. After this formative period, he returned to Naples to study professionally at Nut Academy, deepening his knowledge of Ableton Live and music production techniques. In 2020, he relocated to Berlin, a city that profoundly shaped his sound. There, Meier developed a strong interest in modular synthesizers and the more hypnotic and industrial shades of techno. He now lives in Milan, where he works at Play Music Store, specializing in the synthesizer, studio recording, and DJ equipment departments. Alongside this, he continues to pursue his artistic project, exploring new sonic paths that merge groove, sound design, and a visceral approach to techno production.
