Urgently looking for a room in Utrecht! (max. ~€800/month excl.) Hi! I'm Victor, 38 years old, working at @wondersofworkutrecht in the centre of Utrecht and living in Kanaleneiland. I'm involved in a local church and community centre @huisvanvredeutrecht , and occasionally work on projects in the fields of culture, technology and society. My primary tenant is now moving to Amsterdam and the owner is selling the property. My sublet contract has been terminated and I need new accommodation from June onwards. I work four days a week and have a permanent contract. After completing my Master's degree, I had to find a different path in the job market due to autism. This is going well now, but my budget remains limited for the time being. I've been on the waiting list for social housing at DAK since 2016 and expect to reach the top within about a year, so I'm looking for somewhere in the meantime. Who I am as a housemate: I'm positive, social and have a good sense of humour. I enjoy a chat in the kitchen, the occasional shared dinner or a cosy film or games night. I work two evenings a week and get home around 10:30 PM on those days. I care about having a place that genuinely feels like home. I'll contribute to a good atmosphere and always communicate openly if something could work better, so that living together is enjoyable for everyone. Preference: Kanaleneiland, Transwijk, Hoograven, Rivierenwijk or Oog in Al — but anywhere in Utrecht or just outside the city (Nieuwegein, Houten, Bunnik) is also an option. F*** 2016, I need 2006! ~~~ Long doubted whether or not to post, but in 2019 - well before I lost everything in 2022 - I made these milennial cringe edits of a few pictures from 2004-2007 in Google Slides, which ironically ended up being the only pictures from my youth that survived. Now they are like a strange time capsule: nostalgia for a time of more lighthearted nostalgia, in turn for a ghostlike, memory of ever fading past, of which there are no traces left. ~~~ Ps. people always think I don't age but here is the proof! #milennial #2006

Anne Don & Sxmbra - Tabernakel (EP) 'Tabernakel' is a collaboration between Sxmbra and singer-songwriter and composer Anne Don. While originating from Liminal Vision's worldbuilding research project 'Embodied Ambitopia's' (2021), it has become its own self-standing music piece. Captured early in 2025, this walk takes us through El Hueco, the central market district of Medellin. The sound collage / DJ mix by Colombian-born, Europe-raised contributor S x m b r a (@_mcvickers0n ) features a selection of vernacular and deconstructed music from the latin online diaspora, blending in and out of the field-recorded ambience. The chaos of traffic, commerce, and cheap goods in overwhelming quantities are scaffolded against a concrete urban megastructure, partially over grown by plants and scattered waste. To us, this meditative motion-painting hints at a tropical realism of the 21st century, dense in collisions and contradictions with an inherent, transient and tragic beauty. watch now on remotecontrol.club (link in bio)
