She’s the equivalent of a Stanley Cup girl with three diced pineapples and five cubes of ice — but in this story, she’s a virgin.
uNdalo barely makes it past her father’s doorstep, and it shows in her complexion. Yet when she does slip through his fingers, she climbs the mountain, sitting at its peak in the hope that one day Johannesburg will build a skyscraper tall enough to be seen from home.
And until then she remains poised between boredom and her legs.
