EPOCH OF CLOUDS // release date [ 02/05/2025 ] + listening party 01 a great many circles 02 mnemonic 03 utensular 04 aquaplane 05 digestive 06 blanket tuck 07 stonetide 08 edgelands 09 epoch of clouds if you'd like to join me in listening in full on 5th May, there will be an online listening party on bandcamp at 7pm, chat will be open for people who'd like to talk about anything --- you can RSVP on my bandcamp page or just join on the day (may need to use desktop, not sure) x the first two tracks are out now, a visualizer/video for these will be out this week i'm big happy with this bunch of sounds and the artwork. it's all been recorded/produced/mixed/mastered(ish?) by myself over the last year or so. a lot of it includes emotions and feelings that are quite personal, some of it sounds hopeful, some a bit more hopeless. i hope both can be relatable in some way. i got out of a pretty rough mental space at the start of 2024 and learning to make music and explore a whole new creative outlet was a big part of that. i primarily work within visual art/illustration, which i've struggled to find a drive for since leaving university. have felt a bit stagnant with it. writing and recording music helped remind me that there's always more to play around with, and to try to be conscious of how much of your identity or worth is based around any endeavour, creative or not. sometimes i might just need a change up for a bit. the artwork is made up of my own photography and illustration, as well as transcriptions of an experimental sound piece 'kontakte' by karlheinz stockhausen as always, shares are sooo very appreciated. would also love to hear what you think ! huge thanks for all the love/words/shares so far, means a whole lot to me 🤍 thanks thanks thanks goodbye for now

hello i have made some music. it will be released soon. after learning and playing guitar for around 4 years with no initial intention of writing music, i began recording various things and learning to produce and mix around a year ago. this project is the result so far. i would love for you to have a listen. the album, EPOCH OF CLOUDS, will be available on bandcamp, youtube, spotify, apple music etc further info coming very soon :) thanks for reading max
