After 5 incredible and stressful years, I’m so proud of myself for reaching this huge milestone and graduating from the University of Toronto 🥳! I feel so blessed to receive a bachelors degree, specializing in journalism, where I have had the opportunity to be put into spaces that I never imagined I’d be in. Here’s to new beginnings and hopefully making a difference in the next chapter of my life. It’s been a rollercoaster ride that I’m happy to finally be off of! 🎓❤️

@tiff_net Big thank you for this amazing opportunity to be a part of the social media team. This internship has given me a real outlook to social media work, community building, networking and overall how having a great team makes all the difference in your work abilities. I definitely learned so much in such a short period of time, and the spaces that TIFF gave me access to was something I won’t ever forget.
This internship has for sure made me realize that it’s important to not limit yourself to opportunities or spaces you think you may not fit into. I’ve learned so much about this industry overall, but also social media content creating, and learning about engagement on multiple platforms. TIFF has given me the tools and confidence to put myself out there and get closer to my career goals. It wasn’t easy and I definitely had self doubt to prove myself, but I learned that it’s important to be confident in yourself and your choices and these opportunities will gravitate to you.
Thank you TIFF and my amazing team! This was definitely a building block chapter in my life.

This moment was super special to me. Having the opportunity to be apart of Kickbacks Portfolio program was overall an experience in itself. I’ve met amazing people who continue to pour positivity and support into the person I want to become. I can’t thank the Kickback team enough for all the love they’ve put out to everyone and everything they believe in.
