I am pleased to announce that I will be going to Florida State University to pursue my Masters of Music in orchestral conducting, with a graduate assistantship as an assistant conductor and librarian for the university orchestras under the mentorship of Maestro Alexander Jimenez. It will be an absolute delight to work with the top-tier players of the orchestras, and a prestigious opportunity as with I get the chance to hone my skills as a conductor in this musically potent environment! @musicfsu

Today, I played my final concert as 3rd horn with the @montgomerysymphonyorchestra , playing one of my favorite symphonies in Tchaikovsky's 4th. However, it was during the poignant 2nd movement that I was able to reflect on my time with the MSO these past 3 years. It is with them that I have made my biggest music career strides; from playing all the exciting symphonic repertoire as a horn player, to them being the first orchestra outside Kenya to play my music, to ushering me towards my path as a conductor. I dreamt of moments like this a decade ago. Now I have been thoroughly lucky to have lived it all in such a short time, all thanks to wonderful humans who took a leap of faith in having me there. My ๐ฏ teacher Dr. Brenda Luchsinger and my conducting mentor and MSO Maestro @jamieconductor . I will be eternally grateful๐๐พโค๏ธ
