Congratulations to @theatrefsu + @musicfsu alumna Christiani Pitts on her Tony Award nomination! Nominations were announced Tuesday, recognizing Pitts for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Musical for her role in “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York).”
“A 20+ year old dream has been fulfilled. I've been watching the Tonys since I can remember,” Pitts told New York Theatre Guide. “I have very vivid memories of watching the Tony Awards in summer stock theatres — we all crowded around the TV.”
