It’s trending again to shrink yourself and be as small as possible - eat less, workout more, and ultimately take up less space. This message is subtle, but it’s literally everywhere, and it’s incredibly harmful.
I train hard everyday to build a strong, capable body, not a smaller one. I want muscles and bones that will support every type of movement throughout my lifespan, so I’m thinking long term. In 50 years my 80 year old body isn’t going to care about aesthetics or chasing a trend, all I’ll be concerned about is if I’ve built something that will last. That requires adequate fueling, strength training, and consistency. Not restriction, not fragility, and not constantly trying to shrink yourself.
Think stronger, not smaller 🫂
