Today is a very special release day. When @kiore.music came to me with the idea of her new EP back in 2023, I knew there was a mutual challenge to try new techniques and musical decisions that neither of us have ever fully committed to. This marked the very first project I went solely to tape (as much as possible). Although the songs were ultimately dumped back into the digital world post mixing, the heart and soul was sonically given to us from this beautiful machine.
To do a record where loudness and competing against modern music was thrown out the window, the result gave us this pure piece of art.
