🇺🇸 Congratulations to Larry Duru on his commitment to play at Ellsworth Community College in the USA next season!
Larry started his journey with us at our community sessions before progressing through our Under 14s, Under 16s, Under 18s, EABL at our BMet Academy & our men’s first team in British Championship Basketball.
Larry starred in the EABL last season, top scoring across the league with an incredible average of 26 points per game and 13 rebounds per game.
Rockets Academy Director, Paul Douglas, said: “This is fantastic news for Larry and his family.
“The growth Larry has made over the past 3 years has been nothing short of amazing!
“It is extremely hard to live up to potential sometimes but Larry has more than surpassed our expectations. He has led the programme by example by working extremely hard on the court, weights room and in the classroom.
“Larry is a very humble young man with high morals and is well respected across the league, club and college.
“He will be a great addition to the Ellesworth Community College programme.”
