This year, I’m deeply grateful for life, for my family, and for the kind of love that holds me steady, even when my story has taken turns I didn’t see coming.
God has blessed me so richly, with an amazing career, beautiful children, and real support. And I’m learning that even though I’ve had to be strong in so many ways, strength does not mean carrying everything alone. It does not mean staying silent about what I need. There is strength in being clear. Strength in letting people show up for me. Strength in accepting the love and support of my village without pride getting in the way.
I’m learning that growth is not always about becoming someone new, but about having the courage to lean into who I already know is in me. To trust myself more. To show up. To do the things. To stop waiting for perfect timing and share the gifts, minus the perfection. To lead with strength and still move with softness. To love on myself more, in big ways and small ones... with grace, with rest, with spa days, with flowers, and with the kind of care that reminds me I deserve softness too.
At 37, I’m choosing to trust the God in me, love myself more every day, and keep walking fully in what’s mine.

I had such a fun time seeing @johnlegend and the fam in my city! @cporter and my puffing silk press can prove I was unsuccessful at containing myself and my dance moves in my chair 😂. As expected, John gave his BEST to Brooklyn and brought MAJOR heat with the featured artist including none other than @mslaurynhill . The ladies sang ZEEEOOOOWWWN and the band was locked in heavy per usual! So happy I was able to experience it on the other side this time! Definitely a night to remember!
