‘Eve & Adam’ questions bodily autonomy, medical power, and identity through barehanded puppetry, video projections, and performance. Each iteration is site-specific, responding to the culture and political moment of where it’s performed. What dimensions exist within us when the external world becomes inaccessible? “Quanty Goes Through The Door” follows Quanty, a unique and sensitive character journeying through metaphysical doorways of consciousness. Originally commissioned by Rattlestick Theater & New York Theatre Salon during lockdown, this film combines naked-hand puppetry with macro video format, delving into worlds that are playful, spiritual, vulnerable, and chaotic. Quanty is a finger puppet character filmed in macro video format, who moves between people, emotions, and challenging scenarios of impasse. Viewed through a macroscopic lens, the world reveals the deeper stakes within each of us, creating space for storytelling worthy of philosophical tale. This artistic tool is at once physical performance, audiovisual experience, and storytelling. Through their universal human reactions, or “mimesis”, Quanty could be any of us, while also serving as the hero who navigates intense and unique experiences. — Made, as always, with @morwennaspagnol

How does longing refract across parallel selves? Quantum Intimacies is a week-long exhibition and screening series exploring intimacy as a force—across distance, through time, and beyond visibility. Featuring experimental film, sound, performance, and installation, the program brings together nearly 70 artists whose works examine relationality across distance, the fluidity of time, and the ephemeral architectures of connection. Quantum Intimacies is not an exhibition about intimacy—but an intimate exhibition, one that extends care, insists on slowness, and recognizes softening as resistance.
