“Everybody,” the new single from duo M&R, arrives steeped in the phantom scent of a New York rave. Forged by Junior M and Henry R for Los Angeles imprint Gyration Station, the track is an introspective dive into hard house and tribal rhythms, punctuated by a coy, inside-joke vocal sample from The Devil Wears Prada. The release features two formidable remixes from NYC’s multimedia force Tr!ggered and France’s Nymed under his new alias, Dirty Mirage. Henry R is a cartographer of feeling, known for his arsenal of rare vinyl and an innate ability to unlock a room’s ecstasy. Junior M, on a parallel path, has crafted a playful sound of their own, weaving Italo Disco, Dembow, and Synthwave into the American House music tapestry. Together, their collaboration is potent, warehouse centric fire. Their track is muscular, washed in red light, and dripping in sweat. The remixes refract their vision: Henry R steps in with his own ‘Tweaking Dub,” Tr!ggered delivers a live, one take shot of raw analog House passion, while Dirty Mirage channels a deep love for 90s sounds into the current electrifying queer nightlife overseas on European dancefloors. 1.
