Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my newest creation, my Bungou Stray Dogs OC–a result of my irl bestie getting me into this anime! Hasegawa Machiko is a sophisticated and quietly powerful ability user whose presence naturally makes people around her behave. She is 168 cm tall, has wine-red hair that she usually wears in a carefully arranged braid, and purple eyes that are very observant. She walks and talks with purpose. Born on October 23, Machiko values order not as a matter of pride, but as a means of survival—having learned early how quickly chaos and public judgment can destroy lives. She is capable of genuine kindness, provided sparingly and without expecting anything in return, despite her aloof manner. Her ability, Lady Sazae, manifests as a psychological field that heightens self-awareness and social restraint in others, causing individuals to govern their own behavior rather than enforcing silence or control directly. Non-violent yet extremely unpleasant, the ability exposes individuals who rely on disorder, fraud, or spectacle, while leaving the honest and self-possessed completely undisturbed.Though Machiko maintains emotional distance and speaks with formality, her character continues to evolve; beneath her control lurks a capacity for tenderness and trust, revealed only to those who earn it. Her composure is not inborn; it is developed, selected, and acquired over time. I'm beyond obsessed with how Machiko turned out, and I obviously had fun while drawing her and creating her! Another gorgeous collab came to its end, hosted by @magicalartist0_0 and @minxmoonshadowart , with its theme being 'Oc x Perfume,' in a Masquerade Ball. I chose Karin Suzumura as the muse for my artwork (haven't drawn her for a LONG LONG TIME), and as a perfume bottle, despite adding 3 references, I ultimately chose 'Alien Extraintense' by Mugler (second slide!). I don't regret choosing this one, though. I believe this perfume bottle was perfect for what I envisioned: drama (in my artpiece!), mystery, and Karin being Karin. And of course, as the antihero she is, I got heavily inspired by Black Lady's outfit and hairstyle, adding more drama and exaggeration in my artpiece. I thought it would fit in the concept, and I was right, it does! I mean, Mugler had already included Koan's outfit in a runway, why not Black Lady's? Don't worry, I drew it for now (gosh I'd love this dress irl), and I had a great time with this concept! Obviously, I was super excited to work together with all of these amazing people, familiar or not. Okay, with what do I start? With Insta CROPPING this masterpiece yet me being UNSTOPPABLE? With how I managed to capture everything and fall in love with the result? With me being patient enough to find the perfect hair for Dan? With how handsome and charming he looks while being an almighty leader? Words might not be enough, but DANTE HAKARI is here to serve. And again, I had made him way before the 'Lonely Lonely' trend, when I didn't know a thing about Sparda. I had created this guy (my Dan) during an old roleplay and I don't regret it at all. He's a very laid back yet confident and quite cocky man. However, Dan is very passionate and impulsive. He is a loyal person, a great leader, and a hard worker. Due to his strong presence and his personality, he reminds Haruna of Mondo, in a good way (tbh I can see the parallels here, he and Mondo would defo be besties and train together). I actually got inspired by a Guilty artwork out there, so I locked in and followed the trend, although I might be hella late (which I don't rlly care much). Well well, I'm here presenting my long awaited art for RiChiko, a pair between Machiko Hasegawa (my oc) and Rika/Riri Edogawa (@vin._shadownyx 's oc). Since they don't have love interests, she came up with the idea of pairing them together, and she was right BECAUSE LOOK AT THEM THEY'RE SO PRECIOUS ASGHGGHGJ- Ehem, enough about my admiration, I obviously had tons of fun with drawing them, can't wait to make headcanons and write about their life together (along with Vin, she's the CEO, and I'm the co-CEO of this ship)! And of course, pink lights and a pink background (added both versions since I'm indecisive as heck) because fun fact, it's Machiko's favorite color! Osamu Dazai in his Port Mafia attire? Yessir! No, seriously, my irl bestie asked for this one too, and I wanted to try and draw him in a pose I chose this time... Well, the vision and the concept were damn clear! I admit his hair was a bit of a struggle and it took me a while to adjust his overcoat because of his arm peeking out and saying hello (I ALMOST forgot his bandages on his forearm) but overall, I think I did a great job with drawing him! I tried a few different things when it came to blending shadow/highlight with the base color and actually added some color on the lips (something that I usually omit because I rarely color lips when I'm drawing a male, even though the skin color differentiates from the lip color). Something I altered was his eye color. I know it's dark brown in the anime, but I got the red-eyed reference from BSD-Wan. And the background is indigo/purple-ish, I thought it would look really really cool with Dazai! I hope you like him and my fanart of him as much as I do! Another BSD drawing in the shenanigans, and this time, it's THE CHUUYA NAKAHARA (aka one of mine + irl bestie's faves). He came here to the rescue to save the day on the boss' orders (reference obv)! My bestie suggested I should draw him in a pose/base she chose, and I think she made a great choice because it fits the ginger pretty well! I mean, he's Chuuya, he's a Port Mafia executive, and he does smirk lots of times, sooo... (totally not saying I had saved this pose thinking of him, but who am I kidding? I saw the pose and it screamed Chuuya, can you blame me?) And YES I omitted the lock of hair on his left side, due to spoilers on the latest chapter. I mean I kinda got some sort of benefit because it looks pretty cool and the lock wouldn't be shown much due to the chosen pose. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE! 💖💘💗 Just like I promised, I did both artworks that had the most votes, GiyuuRin (OC x Canon between Giyuu Tomioka x Lydia Rin Aizawa) and IchiRai (OC x OC between Ichirou Yoshida x Megumi Hirai). I had a lot of fun with drawing these ships on the tablet this time (pretty much achieved a goal rn) and I nearly cried when I was done with both of my works! Sure enough, GiyuuRin's a bit more detailed because of the base I used, plus I managed to finish IchiRai's today (a couple of hours ago) so I didn't bother much for a detailed background. Both couples are expressing love and intimacy in their own way. I'm sad that Miss Insta had to crop IchiRai's art, I attempted not to post both of them together but there was no difference, so I'm adding both artworks together. Originally, I was planning to make two posts so I could use two different songs (since the song is more of GiyuuRin) but I don't mind this outcome! Domestic Machiko anyone? Totally me accepting the offer. But no jokes, Machiko being soft in her house with her lovely Russian Blue cat, Seraph, is something I would keep talking about for a while, because in her house, she knows she's not judged or disciplined for existing. And hence, she can let her guard down, because she's herself for once, wearing loose clothing and letting herself forget she even has authority. 'Ice melts,' she would say, to those few people who she lets in her life. Originally saved the pose for another oc, but since I stopped drawing her for a while, I decided to give Machiko a shot since she has a cat, taking care of it after its first owner deceased. He's sleeping on her shoulder, showing his trust in the female. I attempted to make a flip phone since the characters use flip phones a lot, plus I added a lemon phone charm due to me associating Machiko with a lemon; sour to the most due to its nature (since she's cold and aloof due to her family), but if handled rightly, it can be sweet (just like her, with the few people who can see her softer side). And Seraph remains there, purring like the sweet and loyal companion he is. What can I say? I wanted to experience this side of Machiko as her beloved creator, plus I wanted to let her breathe for once. I know there will be more stuff for me to add as I work on her lore, relationships, and trivia, but I'll leave them for another time! (p.s. She casually listens to ARTMS because I said so. Third Machiko Hasegawa art in a row, and you can tell that Instagram loves cropping pictures, so I did what I knew better: screenshot and post both versions. And yes, I did go for a more formal Machiko this time, wanting to experience drawing her in an event or something like that. I also used Krita for this one instead of Adobe Fresco (which was my way-to-go app for digital drawing) since with Krita, I had the chance to zoom and fix anywhere I wanted, not just in the center of the art piece, and it's a bonus for me, who kind of values details. I believe I did justice with this pose, as she shows her 'Lady Sazae' self in public and 'Machiko' in the private cracks between glances. The only thing I'm insecure about is her lips; thinking they're too big for my liking, even though Machiko did go formal and her makeup is different this time. I'll fix it overtime! I'm back again with another drawing of Machiko, but this time, I did go for a gentler version since her character develops as time passes (no, she won't remain cold forever). 'Ice melts,' just like she said, staring at nowhere in particular and blushing. Is it warmth, vulnerability, or a crush? She's on a safe place where she can let her guard down... And it shows on her gaze. 'As the hours pass, I will let you know That I need to ask before I'm alone How it feels to rest on your patient lips To eternal bliss, I'm so glad to know!' (had to use this song here, it just fits her expression so well it hurts 😭 - Might be more Mr. Kitty coded than Lydia 😭) I had this idea on my mind for a couple of days, plus my obsession (dw it's healthy) with my beautiful girl still goes on strong. And since she gets character development, I decided to give this idea a try. And no, before you come at me, she's not becoming bubbly and all of that. She's more of an 'at peace' person; she's still aloof, but not that cold. At least to those who she thinks that they deserve to be trusted and treated in a kind manner. Originally, I was going to draw angsty stuff, don't ask me why, this idea appeared in my mind just like that, but after rethinking about it, I was like, 'Why don't I try and redraw an art piece I never finished/posted?', which brings me the idea of drawing my Crescent babies, aka the current heirs of the Crescent Foundation: Maruchi, Megumi, Ichiro, Kei, and Haruna. I went for this specific vibe because it felt as a reminder of their starting point, the bonds, the love, and the future they grow into. I've had the original drawing for over a year, the lineup was different, and I wanted to test myself on how much I've evolved since then. I went ahead and did something different with the colors of the onesies this time (it's not the pastelly colors, look closer!) while making sure their purity and innocence would still exist. Obviously, I had so much fun while drawing and coloring them, even though I had a mini breakdown with the stubborn white pixels... I'll find a way to eliminate them, I promise! First off, Merry Christmas (even though I'm hella late) and happy holidays to all of you!!! Hope you all have fun during these holidays!!! Here I'm back again, with my lovely Haru and a new male character, together enjoying a walk in the crispy, wintery air. Not exactly Christmas vibes, but I thought it fitted these holidays perfectly, since Christmas is considered a time for family gatherings and spending time with loved ones. A great friendship between grandfathers (paternal for Haruna and maternal for Kei) builds foundation for the two kids to grow around each other, take separate, painful paths and reconnect as people who finally knew who they were. Kei Aoyama is a quiet, introspective young man shaped by loss, emotional neglect, and the pressure to mature too early. Reserved and observant, he speaks little but notices everything, often choosing silence over confrontation. He struggles to express vulnerability, masking deep empathy and protectiveness behind emotional distance and a guarded demeanor. Though he can appear cold or detached, Kei is deeply loyal to those he cares about and shows affection through presence rather than words. He values stability, honesty, and small moments of peace, finding comfort in routine and in people who don’t demand him to be anything other than himself. Around someone he trusts—especially Haruna—his walls soften, revealing a gentle, attentive side driven by quiet devotion rather than grand gestures. He's around the same age as Haruna, 19-20 years old (if post-Katabasis/DR3), his height is 178 cm (5'10"), his weight is 60 kg (132 lb), and his birthday is on February 9 (obvi making bday art for him after exams). And yes, I did take inspiration from two characters during his making, one for the looks and the other for the personality (both of them are pale, which matches Kei's pale skintone). As always, I had a lot of fun while drawing them and experimenting with the colors and tones.
