Incredibly honored to have helped create this music video w/ @josieontherocks in July of 2022. Shortly after filming, Josie’s drummer, Graham, passed away. Always smiling ear to ear, Graham was ecstatic about making this video and couldn’t wait for it to be released. In the short time I knew him, he - and the rest of the band - had made a huge impact on how I approach creating. Within a short period of time, my priority became more about the experience and joy of making vs the outcome of the product, a change in perspective and leadership I attribute largely to Graham.
To honor him and the friendship of Josie, the music video and song is now out - It’s so bittersweet yet, I’m beyond proud. Link in bio to watch + support Josie on the Rocks. ❤️♾️

This project is so dear to me, cause it involves so many talented and passionate people that were in for the vision with their hearts and full of drive. Thanks @_hopester for pushing me to do this and developing the concept with me. I won’t ever shut up about your creative eye and storytelling/photographic skills. Thanks for everyone on the production team as well as the actresses/actors that made this piece come to life. I’m so happy to call you family! I can’t believe we shot this 2 days before I left LA! Having been a believer of her steadfast creativity & insane talent since we met in 2015, it was utterly surreal watching her become a TRUE Popstar this past spring on her v 1st headline tour!!
I totally missed the boat on posting about her and the tour experience then, BUT now that her debut album is out (!!!), i couldn’t miss this moment to share how much I love the Chappell Roan project & vision. I’m stupid grateful to have friends, like Kayleigh, to look up to who are betting on themselves creatively and not only succeeding, but thriving.
