First tour ever for The Hidden Cameras was in May/June of 2003 playing Ireland and UK (and some EU cities) supporting The Sleepy Jackson, the band @lukesteeleofficial had before forming @empireofthesunsound
The first show was May 12 at @whelanslive in Dublin.

This UK documentary short is about a campaign against homophobia in football launched in the memory of Justin Fashanu, who as well as being the first black ÂŁ1 million footballer, was the worldâs first and only openly gay professional footballer who died by suicide in 1998.

âBoys of Melodyâ used in John Palmerâs film Sugar from 2004.
The filmâs star featured in this clip, Andre Noble, tragically died of aconitine poisoning after accidentally eating monkshood in Newfoundland shortly after the filmâs premiere. Director John Palmer died sadly of Covid-19 in 2020 at the age of 77. The film also stars Brendan Fehr @unrealfehr and features @realsarahpolley@theninamachina Maury Chaykin (RIP 1949-2010) and also former Hidden Cameras member Michael Barry.
Sugar is based on short stories by @brucelabruce
*Palmer was primarily a theatre director, whose credits include the original production of Brad Fraserâs Wolfboy which marked the first acting role of Keanu Reeves.
