Sundays at Idea Farm take their cue from an old English tradition — a morning walk that ends at the pub. For those who feel like it, we head out at 11am into Söderåsen National Park: fresh air, good company, and a bracing start to the day. Then it’s back to the farm, where the doors are open and a proper Sunday roast is waiting.
Expect generous plates built around local meat from farmers and hunters around Söderåsen — wild boar, venison, beef, lamb — served with Yorkshire puddings, rich gravy, and all the trimmings. The bar pours local craft beers and well-chosen wines, music drifts through the room, and board games appear on the tables. Some afternoons we’ll roll a matinee film as the light fades and the day stretches into evening.
