Ahead of our first ticketed event this Sunday, we wanted to take a moment to tell you about the artists playing, and why we’re so excited about them! It’s a long post but there’s a lot to say 🤷‍♀️ @bria.wav We’re absolutely thrilled to be hosting Bria this Sunday. She’s soundtracked many of the parties and festivals that inspire us, so it’s a real full-circle moment to have her play at Grove. If you’ve had the pleasure of seeing Bria perform - or tuned into her FBI show on Mondays - you’lll know that she’s most comfortable operating across genres letting her wide-ranging music taste do the talking. @fanaa.syd Fanaa is a producer, artist and DJ exploring his Algerian heritage by fusing North African tradition with dance music. He has cemented his commitment to the underground as a co-founder of the forward thinking Eko-System label. Fanaa’s work extends beyond his music - his recent collaboration, Don’t Matter, is an EP-magazine pairing that explores colonialism, philosophy and science. We’re beyond excited to have him share his vision with us. Copies of Don’t Matter will be available for purchase on Sunday. @ari_kiko b2b @cooked.rd Ari and Josh are two of our favourite tastemakers and putting them b2b is a no brainer. Ari’s high-energy and left-field selections can get any dancefloor moving - this is something that we at Grove can both personally attest to. Josh is one of the minds behind FigJaam, and his sets are infamous for his infectious energy, always making sure to infuse his performances with wobbly dub and, of course, 2-step cha-cha. @indiz2_ We’re excited to welcome Indra back to Grove! After a year-long stint in Berlin, he’s released 2 songs and had his own show on Refuge Worldwide! Indra is a talented musician and his sets effortlessly weave global musical influences into something unconventional yet cohesive. @benstals DJ, model, producer, astronaut, Grove CFO, icon, apprentice chef, headstand enthusiast - need we say more? We’re less than a month away from our free beach party on the 7th of Feb! We’ve been waiting so long for this one and we know you have too. We’re so keen to leave all that energy on our sandy dancefloor. Come down and celebrate 1 year of Fig Jaam and Sydney’s summer with a boogie. This party is free to attend but we will also be raising money for The Sameer Project. If you would like to donate you can do so via the humanitix when signing up for the event or on the day.
