EX-SITU / IN-SITU The book features artworks exploring the tension between biodiversity and endangered life forms in the Anthropocene. Influences from multispecies discourses, other-than-human perspectives on living beings, and their appearance in mythology and intellectual history play a role. 19 artistic positions were presented in two exhibitions – at National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo (@zemaljskimuzej_bih ) and < rotor > Centre for Contemporary Art, Graz (@rotor.contemporary ). Likovna adionica "Arhiva, skeneri i društvo" U sklopu radionice bavit ćemo se arhivama, te koristiti tehniku skenografije kako bismo istražili moguće metamorfoze postojećeg vizualnog sadržaja. Izrađivat ćemo nove digitalne vizuale temeljene na ideji greške, glitch arta i dijeljenja, koje kasnije možete koristiti u svojim umjetničkim projektima. Sve potrebne materijale polaznici će dobiti na na radionici. Polaznici mogu sa sobom ponijeti neke specifične fotografije, izreske iz tiskovina ili druge vizuale na papiru do A4 formata, ako žele s njima raditi. U slučaju da na radionici želite raditi s postojećim vlastitim umjetničkim radovima, oni bi trebali biti na papiru ili sličnoj ravnoj i laganoj površini, te u suhom mediju koji se ne razmazuje pri klizanju po staklenoj plohi. Za radionicu nije potrebno predznanje. Radionica je besplatna. Radionica će se održavati u grupama, te vas molimo da nam se javite na mejl [email protected] kako bismo mogli planirati broj polaznika. Radionica je namijenjena odraslima, studentima, umirovljenicima, srednjoškolcima te učenicima 7. i 8. razreda osnovne škole. Radni jezik radionice je hrvatski, uz mogućnost prijevoda na engleski po potrebi. Petak, 21.11., 18-20 h, vidimo se u Širi!

#thegreatportfolioupdate & "Warmth", an art research anchored around Trešnjevka's thermal power plant EL-TO, its neighbouring sports center and the surrounding residential areas. Interested in both dilapidation and gentrification of the neighbourhood's public spaces, this work tries to think through the notions of 'home', hauntology, signals, Yugoslavian industrial architecture, everydayness, and what one sees from the kitchen window. Next in #thegreatportfolioupdate is the fist public showing of "Warmth" from 2022. - a research into nostalgia, hauntology & socialist architecture, anchored around a power plant chimney located a mere five minute walk from the apartement building where I live (but you can't really get close since the area is closed off for public). I see the chimney every morning while having coffee in my kitchen. You can see it from almost everywhere else in the city. Exhibited alonside @tau_luna_ 's "Fossil Kinship" research (whose work I really love & totally recommend for everyone to look up online if you haven't!). Curated by (my favourite 💚) @martinadotkon with support from (also my favourite 💚) @whw_what.how.for.whom at gallery Nova, that sadly no longer operates at this address, but nevertheless has a wonderful new space now. 🍀 I am, however, VERY happy that I got to work in the old gallery Nova, as this space was so cozy for both me and the materials, and it was lovely feeling into the remaining invisible traces of all the works that lived here before mine (Nova was at this adress in Teslina 7. since 1992., if I remember correctly, which is one year before I was born, which is a bit surreal for me in itself, and also wonderful, and also sad that this space is now something else entirely & no longer a part of the local culture scene). In 2022., this wonderful human @hara_alonso asked me to illustrate the book she was writing. 💚 Since then, this short story collection has been one of my favourite (& also the cutest!) projects I got to work on.
