Hearing cumbia, currulao, bambuco and afro-colombian sounds being taken into dub territories feels both familiar and completely new at the same time ✨favourite track: Tolita It brought me back to colombiato family, friends, little moments, conversations, sounds, colours… all of it this is my mood this week.. ——— A project by @cerrero_ , founder of @lloronarecords and @discospacifico , reworking folkloric sounds through dub, echo, and experimentation. I also had the pleasure of meeting cerrero while I was in colombia; it was inspiring to hear about his work with communities and local heritage. A beautiful reinterpretation of colombia’s caribbean and pacific regions.
