It’s crazy to think that this pattern is double-sided and I have yet to even explore the darker gray white dot opposing side

Every time I do these abstracts, I always find some new iteration, this one instead of imposing my rhythm I took on the rhythm of the fabric

And so many ways, this fabric expresses itself by giving me a form to follow, and by creating an opposite form like a window

These two were actually just studies to see which upholstery fabric worked best with this high tuft or plume of a stitch

But now that I see these 2 feet together it looks like they’re standing on their tippy toes!

This one was fun. I really wanted to use this pattern fabric to see if anything unusual would happen

And it did!

In photos, it tends to take on a bluish tent with the cool gray color influences the shadows this deep and thick plume of a stitch
.
Trying to figure out more ways to use patterned fabric and less intimidated by it
