Now that the car has been unveiled at Motorex Iāve been able to finally show the finished product to all the people who sent words of encouragement along the way. The messages, good vibes and now friendships have been a massive motivator along this journey.
I want to firstly thank my wife Shelle for enabling me to do this crazy project, as well as holding things together at home thereās not many guys who have a partner that will turn a blind eye to this batshit crazy way to spend your money and time & actually support it! I want to thank my employer (Mark, and Bill), as well as giving me the means and opportunity to chase this dream, you run a company I love to call home - evident by how many of my colleagues came to see the car unveiled!
To all the guys who worked on the car, I appreciate you all big time! Not only did you guys execute with care and intent, you got on board with the them and helped to guide the style and choices that have shaped the car to what it is.
@rudeglory was there from the inception of the idea to make a unibody 90s driftcar into a 60s/70s muscle car inspired ride. Tireless and extensive work to hand shape this body out of metal, as well as continuous commitment throughout the build.
@tingodsolutions who rebuilt the wheels and installed the air ride but also provided lots of inspiration and ideas.
@lc_staticlow who tirelessly prepped the body for paint and dealt with many headaches shaping this raw metal into what it is.
@kmfcustoms who is an all round guru and executes everything with an obsession to detail that makes him a legend. Looking after all the mechanical, electrical, fab work, underbody, all the shaving and prep of the bay + more.
@cktcustomtrim who has done every car interior you can think of and pumped out a full interior in no time, and wouldnāt settle for less than perfection in his work.
@mrz_customz who jumped in and hooked up the engine bay paint with top quality workmanship
@rfinegarage who put in massive hours in the lead up to get this car show ready with paint correction and coating.
