Story time about my Be Honest manatee prints:
I had to carve it twice. 😂 Linocuts and relief printing is truly a labor of love. I had the whole thing planned out, knew exactly what I had to do, but realized I forgot to reflect the words in the carving at the end of my first go. The first version, which was carved into linoleum block, was a total bust.
My actual reaction (in order): 😧😳🤦🏻♀️
The second version, which I carved into a more rubbery carving block, was great— until I realized I spelled “manatees” wrong. I ended up creating another smaller block that just said “manatees”, and voila!! The final product.

So here’s one of the first big projects I did at PSU. It was for @marsh.haus Information Design class in Fall ‘22. Her class was so much fun, and it was so exciting yet terrifying to have so much creative freedom. Nicole is bad ass, so take a class with her if you can!
This informational bag is about Marc Jacobs career as Art Director at Louis Vuitton. It’s a little love letter to all the iconic collaborations and work he did, but also to my 5th grade self and her fake luxury bag obsession. (Support your local farmers market vendors! We had one that only sold knockoffs.)
I love getting crafty and being resourceful, so this bag was created with a cardboard, paper, leather, thread, tons of glue, metal studs, and a reflective tape.
Shoutout to @butwhyamimoving for the idea to have the bag open and to have more information in there. 💕

A little poster I created and Art Directed for Kiara Walls show at the @littmanandwhite Galleries. It was a lot of fun to come up with ideas for the shows poster, but ultimately I decided to make a full connection to what was included in the exhibit. The idea came to me while I was literally half asleep laying in bed one morning. The jar was modeled after a hair product called Royal Crown, and I had a hell of a time figuring out how to make it look as realistic as possible while using the perspective tool in Illustrator.
